Upgrade from Home Office

If you’ve been working from a home office until now and are finding you’ve got more work coming in that you can manage alone, you may be finding that your office set up is getting too cramped to house anymore equipment or people. It could be time to consider renting office space instead.
The transition between home office and rented can seem somewhat daunting and you might not have any idea where to start gathering information on costs or who to talk to.
The first step is to carefully consider whether renting office space is really required. Do you have clients visiting your premises? Are you mainly out and about on the road? Are you struggling for space for meeting rooms? Do you require just additional space for one more desk?
If you’ve answered yes to all the above then a there are other alternatives to rented office space. If you’re out on the road much of the time and require office space just to entertain clients or hold meetings then consider a virtual office. You can even tap into their people resources and get calls and mail diverted to your virtual office. Another alternative is to use hot desking. If you don’t need someone permanently set up at a workstation but do need the facility for them to plug in when they aren’t in meetings or out on the road then you can rent workstation space.
If you do need more space then consider a serviced office solution. You can rent office space on flexible leases and have the freedom of ramping up workstation requirements should your business really take off. Everything is fitted out and ready to go so its hassle free and most importantly cost-effective.
