When you first move into your serviced office it may seem a little soulless.  Serviced offices are kept uniform and unbranded so you can put your mark on them and create a company image that befits your business.  However once you move in you’ll want to make the office space your own.

More companies are starting to use the ancient art of Feng Shui to make their offices more comfortable and to create a positive working environment.  Feng Shui focuses on alternative ways to position office items and furniture that can improve the harmony within your office space.  Even the rich and famous such as Donald Trump use Feng Shui to attract health, wealth and positive business relationships.

The basis of Feng Shui is to use positive energy or chi to enhance our surroundings.  Chi can be found everywhere and many who have taken up the practice in business report increased wealth, success and serenity.

Here’s some basic tips for increasing positive chi in your office:

  • Declutter and get organized.  Throw out any old papers and keep your desk free on any unnecessary distractions.
  • Set up a well organized filing system.  In Feng Shui this represents respect for your business transactions as they reflect your company’s past, present and future.
  • Quality furniture and décor emanates stability and safety so with a serviced office you’re on the right track already.
  • Chi is attracted to beautiful things that catch your eye so hang beautiful prints and select eye-catching sculptures to decorate the office
  • Put a green leafy plant on your desk and look after it as this brings the energy of life to your work station
