Beat The Gridlock with Virtual Office

As the reports of Britain heading towards gridlock due to the overburdening of transport links across the UK continue to be released its time businesses started to look seriously at what their working policies are going to be to cope with the impending problems.

Although there have long been demands to increase the railway network in the UK and cut down on car usage the improvements will take time to develop.  There have been calls to open disused railways stations to ease the demand on current stations, to employ larger trains at peak commuting times, and to expand regional networks to meet demand.

This range of proposals has been taken on board by politicians, rail companies and train operating organisations however little improvement seems to have been made as yet to the overflowing motorways.  You only have to attend a meeting to know that the majority of your day will be spent sat stuck in traffic, following diversions and dodging HGVs.

With the availability of virtual office packages and virtual working tools such as videoconferencing the smart business is now looking to ways to reduce the amount of time employees spend out on the road attending meetings or commuting when they can either work from home or use software to connect in meetings.
