Dreading a Day at the Office?

It is true that most of us go through cycles of loving working and then hating it!  It is not unusual to have bad days or even weeks bad months in the office and there may be the odd morning you can barely drag yourself out of bed you are dreading the day ahead so much.  However most of us ride through this and we just put it down to a phase but what happens if this continues?

If you find yourself desperately ticking off the days to until Friday at 5.00pm or you wake in the morning with anxiety at what is waiting for you at work then it may be time to look for a new job.

Look around the serviced office.  Is there anything about your job that makes you passionate or enthusiastic?  Is it the people you work with you find uninspiring or the surroundings?  Do you feel your heading nowhere fast?

If you’re feeling demotivated it may be time to have a get together with the boss and look at what new challenges you can take on to develop yourself.  If you find your serviced office surroundings uninspiring then talk to your managers about adding some attractive artwork to the walls or sculptures.

However if you still find you’re feeling desolate about work, look elsewhere as your mental wellbeing comes first.
