Serviced offices advantage over traditional office leases

Since the onset of the global recession, the advantages of serviced offices over traditional office space leases and landlords seems to have become only more pronounced.

Although it would be unfair to fail to recognise the fact that a few landlords have become more flexible in their approach, it is still fairly widely accepted within the business work that perhaps this turnaround has come about due to the recession and that once market conditions begin to improve these changes may in fact revert to their original status.

Many issues faced by traditional office space suppliers do not seem to be such a huge issue for the companies situated within serviced offices.

For instance, as redundancies and downsizing has become more commonplace, occupiers in traditional offices continue to be forced to pay for empty office space whilst their landlord continues to refuse subletting.

In contrast, in serviced offices such flexibility with the ability to upgrade or downsize offices as and when required.  Occupants can tie in for much shorter terms than with conventional office space thus giving serviced offices yet another edge over traditional office space.
